Hair Products from France that Prevent Hair Loss
The problem of hair loss can a scary and anxiety-ridden one. Short of loose teeth, this is one of my most recurrent nightmares – to wake up one day and to suddenly be able to pull out clumps of hair.
Needless to say, there are many products on the market that promise to address this problem. Our experience has been that no single issue is of more importance to consumers than hair care.
There are several interesting French anti-hair loss products on the market. They are all produced by old-line highly reputable laboratories – whether they work or not is an open question.
Consider by far the most popular of these products, the Vichy Dercos SP94 product with Aminexil, that is supposed to rigidify collagen and act on the roots of the hair. There is also a shampoo with Aminexil that is available.
Another interesting product is from the same laboratory that makes the Avene brand, that is fairly well-known in the US from Ducray. Ducray has a nutritional supplement, Anacaps, that is designed to strenthen hair. Chonostim is another topical treatment that is formulated to prevent hair loss. Finally there is the Anastim product for occasional hair loss and devitalized hair.
A Swiss product that is very expensive and also for topical use is Crescina. We have used this product ourselves and found the results to be less than dramatic. The manufacturer does however stipulate that the results will vary from individual to individual.
